Dable holds a Master’s degree of Visual Poetics from UFRGS and integrated the Atelier Subterrânea, one of the main spaces managed by Brazilian artists, between 2006 and 2015. His work contemplates mainly the languages of drawing and painting, with special attention to the representation possibilities of the natural landscape and modern architecture, which he researches through references found or the direct relation with the sites.

He attended an artist residency program, as a scholarship student, at Vermont Studio Center in 2015, besides participating in the exhibition Ficções, with curatorship by Daniela Name, at Caixa Cultural Rio de Janeiro, and the group exhibition Trajetórias at Processo 3, curator Guilherme Bueno, at Anita Schwartz Galeria, also in Rio de Janeiro, besides carrying out the solo show Noticiário, at Instituto Estadual de Artes Visuais, in Porto Alegre. In 2014, he participated in the group exhibition Secret Garden at NARS Foundation in New York and group exhibitions at the Belmacz Gallery and Gallery Nosco, in London, and also in the solo project Noticiário, at Instituto Estadual de Artes Visuais, in Porto Alegre. In 2013, he participated in the publication Knowing (by) Designing, edited by Saint-Lucas University, in Brussels, regarding interdisciplinary researches between the fields of visual arts, music and design, with the series Tacet, which was part of the Rumos Itaú Cultural, 2011-2013 edition. Since 20108, he has carried out solo exhibition in various Brazilian cities, among which the highlights are Álibis, Desvios e Atos Falhos at Galeria Eduardo Fernandes, in São Paulo, in 2013, and Deste lugar entre meio-dia e duas horas da tarde, at Roberto Alban Art Gallery, in Salvador, in 2014.

In 2015, he was a fellow at Vermont Studio Center and received the Acquisition Award at Luiz Sacilotto Contemporary Art Show, in Santo André. In 2013, Dable was the recipient of the Marcantonio Vilaça/FUNARTE Award, and was one of the artists selected by the Rumos Artes Visuais program, of Itaú Cultural, in 2011. He received the Acquisition Award of the Salão da Câmara Municipal de Porto Alegre in 2010, besides being awarded in various categories at the Prêmio Açorianos de Artes Plásticas (Porto Alegre’s Secretariat of Culture) in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012. In 2007, he was appointed as Outstanding Fellow of Iberê Camargo Scholarship.

Dable’s works are part of institutional collections, among which the highlights are the Gilberto Chateaubriand/MAM-Rio Collection, MARGS, MACRS, Vera Chaves Barcellos Foundation, MAM-Rio and Casa do Olhar Luiz Sacilotto.
